The water stop tie can be used to tighten; prevent the building from leaking, seeping and dampen, because it makes use of  the rubber’s characteristics of high elasticity、compression and deformation. In the general large building design, the construction joint、settlement joint、movement joint should be left，and be fixed water stop tie for avoiding seeping problem ，due to no continuous casting , the distortion of groundwork or concrete component’s Expansion on Heating and Contraction on Cooling caused by the changes of temperatures etc.

The water stop tie is mainly used in the base construction for construction joint、movement joint and cement framework while doing concrete cast-in-situ .such as underground establishment, tunnel and culvert、launder、water retaining dam、reservoir for a liquid etc.
